The Veterans Affairs business unit helps transform the VA into a modern digital services organization where Veteran outcomes are at the center of every effort. Primary Responsibilities: As a Senior Program Manager, you are the primary decision maker for the program or portfolio of programs. You will collaborate with business unit leadership in shaping the strategic direction of the program/portfolio and managing customer relationships. A Senior Program Manager is a people manager, leader and mentor that effectively manages team members in support of delivery success. You will have extensive experience in implementing structured project management/process methodologies in order to meet scope, schedule and budget requirements. You will successfully lead through direct reports, and effectively communicate and execute against program and organizational objectives. A Senior Program Manager must exhibit strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and resolve conflict in order to meet revenue goals, while ensuring contractual compliance. Primary expectations of a Senior Program Manager include: Manages all aspects of program performance (i.e. technical, contractual, administrative, financial) and coordinating program activities across multiple projects Experienced in the ability to manage planned contract revenue, billable utilization, and gross margin achievement Cultivates strong customer relationships to understand needs, maximize customer satisfaction, and communicate overall project status, as well as drive innovation Communicates with stakeholders to address changes to program scope, timeline, or budget. Advanced experience with change management best practices. Exhibits extensive influential skills to translate customer vision and drive project activities to successful outcomes. Extensive ability to shape customer success outcomes and metrics. Employs a "big picture" strategic vision; organizing people, technology, culture, and operations to drive solutions to significantly complex business problems Extensive ability to manage contractual obligations and oversee and manage output of sub contracting partners Proactively recognizes issues and conflicts and problem solve solutions, strategically turning barriers into opportunities Manages effective communication work flows, leveraging Project Managers (if applicable) to communicate information effectively Negotiates outcomes and agreements that benefit the project and company Extensive ability to partner with practice and growth leaders to identify and drive organic and new growth opportunities. Extensive ability to develop strategic program plans that benefit the organization over the long term. Effectively identifies program risks, implements, and manages mitigation techniques in a timely manner Extensive knowledge of and adherence to ISO and CMMI quality standards Trusted ability to achieve CPARS ratings above Satisfactory Superior organizational and time-management skills, as well as communication skills Extensive ability to earn trust and respect from team members, and influence decisions that need to be made to make the project successful Extensive experience with Agile project management methodology and project management tools and software Prior government or government contracting experience Responsible for hiring, performance management, timecard reviews, PTO management and team development Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's and 9+ years of experience Experience with Prime and Sub management in an agile environment High-level stakeholder management skills Proven track record in successful delivery of highly complex IT programs 5 years of experience managing technology service delivery projects Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or ITIL certified Agile certification required (PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), AgilePM Foundation, ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, etc.) Prior government or government contracting experience Preferred Qualifications: Prior VA contracting experience To learn more about working at Ad Hoc, please visit: Benefits: Company-subsidized Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Use What You Need Vacation Policy 401K with employer match Paid parental leave after one year of service Ad Hoc LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
