The Hunter Alliance for Research and Translation (HART), based at Hunter College at the City University of New York (CUNY) is seeking a full-time site Study Coordinator to work on a new NIH-funded implementation research project. The project is a collaboration with a NYS-funded Health Home agency to study the effectiveness of using a machine-learning algorithm to improve timely implementation of care management to patients with HIV (PWH), prevent unnecessary emergency department (ED) visits, and improve HIV outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, diverse research experience, and a deep knowledge of HIV treatment/service provision. About the Study Coordinator Position We are seeking a fully-time (35 hours/week) Study Coordinator to oversee study operations at HART and work closely with staff at the collaborating community-based organization. The Study Coordinator will focus on data management and analysis of mixed-methods data (including both large EMR datasets and qualitative interviews with providers and clients). The Study Coordinator will work closely with the PI (Dr. Sarit Golub) and her research team at HART/Hunter College, CUNY. Opportunities for professional development and engagement in HIV training and policy are also available. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Participation in a collaborative research team Coordination of off-site data collection, in collaboration with community-based research partners, including implementation of protocols and data transfer; Coordination of on-site data collection, including participant recruitment, participant tracking, and administration of qualitative interviews; Data tracking and management, including quality assurance activities; Coding and analysis of qualitative interview data; Preparation of progress reports and other project-related protocols and documents; Collaboration in long-term and short-term project planning; Supervision and training of other research staff; Assistance in the dissemination of research findings via conference presentations, reports, literature reviews, and manuscripts Experience and Skills Prior experience in research project coordination and management required; Prior experience in research project recruitment and retention required; Deep knowledge of HIV treatment and service delivery required; experience working in HIV prevention and/or care preferred; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster strong relationships with research collaborators required; Strong computer and technical skills required; Experience with qualitative interviewing and analysis required; Experience with quantitative and qualitative software (SPSS, Atlas) preferred Experience working with LGBT populations preferred; Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred Must be self-directed, flexible, detail oriented, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work on a team, and handle multiple competing priorities. Salary and benefits HART is currently operating on a hybrid model with staff required to work onsite 3 days per week. The salary range for the Study Coordinator position is $62,899-$74,723 at full time, depending on qualifications and experience.
