This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Construction Field Inspector for our Philadelphia office, be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact Monitor Field Construction Activities Able to perform Field Inspection / documenting of construction activity Able to work nights and weekend when necessary Able to read, understand and interpret design and specifications Perform quantity calculations and be able to track Time and Material (T&M) Prepare a daily report document work that has been performed, crew size, etc. Inspect and document construction activities under clients policies and procedures Negotiated with Contractor and assist with preparing pay estimates and change orders. Familiar with the use of Microsoft office - word and excel. Oversee safety and traffic control set up to ensure conformance with Plans and MUTCD Who You Are Required Qualifications High School Diploma 5 years experience in Railroad Construction / Station or highway / bridge related construction Highway and Bridge construction experience on significant size projects - over $3M Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. Must successfully complete and pass WSP's Motor Vehicle screening.
