As a leader, you will manage a team of Portfolio Managers and Credit Analysts, work closely with commercial banking teams, and ensure portfolio management activities align with bank policies. Key Responsibilities: Manage and prioritize workflow, mentor Portfolio Managers and Credit Analysts, and contribute to employee development through active career planning and mentorship. Serve as the liaison with commercial banking teams, ensuring that new business activities are prioritized and portfolio management responsibilities are managed effectively. Directly manage a small portfolio of complex accounts, including gathering and analyzing financial data and performing underwriting tasks. Review credit approval presentations and provide feedback to ensure comprehensive and accurate underwriting. Act as the primary point of contact between commercial credit and lending teams, managing new business pipelines and portfolio management activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting; Master's degree preferred. Formal credit training from a respected bank and 10+ years' financial services experience. Strong understanding of general credit and risk principles, banking policies/procedures, and commercial credit experience. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Prior experience in team management is preferred but not required.
