A New Jersey-based health services network is actively seeking a new, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Endocrinology team.About the Opportunity:Setting: OutpatientSpecialty: Endocrinology Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: 8am to 5pmResponsibilities:The Endocrinology Nurse (RN) will:Assist the Physician and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and physician accessFunction as the liaison between patients, staff, and Physicians and maintain efficient patient flowCollect lab specimens according to departmental guidelines; accurately label specimensPrioritize patient care by implementing Physician orders and nursing proceduresEnsure proper preparation for patient visit; prepare pertinent information needed for patient visitObtain vital signs: BP, temp, pulse, height & weight accurately and completely as requiredAdminister injections according to appropriate protocol; document injections accurately in EHRProvide referrals andor consult orders appropriately and in a timely manner in the PMS and EHRQualifications:1+ year of Nursing experienceAssociate's Degree in NursingNJS Registered Nurse (RN) licenseBLS certificationSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
