Corporate Legal Counsel

LHH Recruitment in partnership with a company in NY is seeking an Interim Corporate Counsel. This role is fully remote. It does have the opportunity to go temp to perm for candidates willing to go onsite to their Syosset office. Responsibilities Review, negotiate and draft contracts across a variety of business functions including, construction subcontractor agreements, professional services, supplier agreements, design and consultant agreements, joint venture and teaming agreements, NDAs and other commercial contracts Review Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for adverse terms Provide direction and guidance on general corporate compliance, company policies and practices, and reporting and licensing requirements Provide guidance and analysis on legal risks that arise out of design and construction projects Appear on behalf of Company during ECB hearings if needed Provide legal analysis of applicable laws, regulations and industry guidance that impact the Company Provide responsive and effective legal support and guidance to the Companies business units as needed Provide other in-house legal services as needed for construction and design firm Requirements JD and licensed to practice in New York 3+ years of relevant experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills
