Job Description: This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling to minimize loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. Key responsibilities include utilizing a variety of systems such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational data bases to provide analytical support on strategies, ensure goals are met, and propose policy and procedural changes within segmentation structures to produce optimal results. Job expectations include evaluating data to assess potential fraud risk and create mitigation strategies. The Strategy Execution Team is looking for an experienced SAS programmer to join our team to develop and execute production processes that allow for implementation of Credit Assistance strategies. This role is integral to the Operations Enablement Teambecause it allows our strategic ideas and plans to come to fruition once developed and executed. In this role, the candidate will partner with our strategy owners to implement their proposed business requirements by updatingpre-existing or developing new production processes in order to identify the eligible populations for strategic treatment. Once the processes have been developed, the candidate is required to follow change management guidelines to test and validate their code. Once processes have been reviewed and approved, the role requires the candidate to execute the processes at a requiredfrequency. The candidate will interact with all areas of Credit Assistance and all levels of management to support the development,socialization, and process design for various strategic initiatives. This position is posted as a Consumer Product Strategy Analyst III but can be filled as II or III based on experience. Responsibilities: Recommends ways to help the business achieve desired outcomes and make informed business decisions using data analysis outputs Performs complex analysis of financial models, market data, financial data, and portfolio trends to understand product performance and improve portfolio risk, profitability, performance forecasting, and operational performance Leads coordination of the production of product performance reports and updates for senior management Required Qualifications: The candidate must be an intermediate to advanced level programmer in SAS Previous experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, and/or Hadoop data sources Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is critical Must have organizational, project management, and communication skills Desired Qualifications: SQL programming experience SAS certification Previous Collections experience Skills: Business Analytics Business Intelligence Data Quality Management Fraud Management Monitoring, Surveillance, and Testing Collaboration Data Visualization Oral Communications Problem Solving Written Communications Analytical Thinking Critical Thinking Data and Trend Analysis Innovative Thinking Research Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Transparency details US - NV - Las Vegas - 1351 N Town Center Dr (NV1507), US - NY - Elma - 611 Jamison Rd - (NY7507), US - NY - Utica - 5701 Horatio St - 5701 Horatio Arterial (NY7501)Pay and benefits informationPay range$60,900.00 - $118,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.Discretionary incentive eligibleThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
