Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist Location: Rahway, NJ/Remote/WFH (75% remote, 25% travel to Rahway, NJ) Duration: 3 months+ Notes : We are looking Cyber Security Specialist contractor for a large pharmaceutical client. Here are some specs below: Cyber Security Specialist focused on OT environments in manufacturing sector Knowledge of industrial control systems, OT protocols with focus on passive scanner technologies, (Example: Nozomi, Armis, Qualys) Knowledge of shopfloor networks, IT/OT asset visibility, automation, threat detection and vulnerability management Knowledge of shopfloor IT/OT device operations - incident management, maintenance, upgrades, etc. Good to have knowledge for ServiceNow platform Description: The Cyber Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of Operational Technology (OT) environments within the manufacturing sector, focusing on proactive threat detection, vulnerability management, and maintaining the security of industrial control systems and networks. Responsibilities: Implement and maintain security protocols for OT environments, ensuring continuous monitoring and threat detection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT/OT asset visibility and manage automation processes. Utilize and manage passive scanner technologies (e.g., Nozomi, Armis, Qualys) to assess and mitigate vulnerabilities within the OT network. Oversee incident management, device maintenance, and system upgrades on shopfloor IT/OT devices. Develop and maintain documentation related to security operations, procedures, and incident response plans. Requirements: Proven experience in cybersecurity with a strong focus on OT environments, particularly in the manufacturing sector. In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems and OT protocols. Hands-on experience with passive scanning and vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nozomi, Armis, Qualys). Familiarity with IT/OT device operations, including incident management, system maintenance, and upgrades. Preferred experience with the ServiceNow platform and its integration with cybersecurity processes.
