We are looking for an experienced safety professional with exposure to construction/similar industries to join our growing Safety Department overseeing the GA/AL locations of Eagle Fire. Benefits: In addition to standard benefits, new employees are eligible for Eagle Fire Perks: $2,000 Employee Referral Program Employee Assistance Program 401K 10 Paid Holidays PTO Short Term Disability Insurance RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the Safety Manager in facilitating an injury and incident-free workplace by evaluating, monitoring, accounting for, and assisting with all aspects of occupational safety programs and site safety. Conduct periodic inspections of facilities and vehicles for safety compliance Conduct job site safety inspections Conduct worksite risk assessments, identifying and controlling potential hazards Investigate safety incidents as they arise Ensure compliance with OSHA, IMSHA, EM-385 Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications: Self-starter, able to work independently 4+ years of relevant experience and/or training Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must possess a practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards. Must interact well with all levels of individuals, internally and externally. Must possess the ability to handle change, resolve conflict and solve problems as they arise with minimal direction. Must possess excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office Professional programs and applicable database programs Must be able to work in extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures. Must be able to work while exposed to loud sounds and noise levels.
