Director of Plant Operations

Idaho Pacific is seeking a Director of Plant Operations for our 4 potato dehydration plant operations. This will include daily interaction with the Plant Managers and oversight of the day-to-day plant performance of production, quality control, safety, employee relations, packaging, and sanitation. This position will participate in company-wide planning & budgeting for the operations functions. This position will be responsible for supporting the company's objectives in achieving performance goals, training, implementing, and enforcing company policies, programs and procedures. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment that includes budgeting, production, sanitation, safety, packaging, shipping and receiving. Experience in Food manufacturing preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to effectively lead and direct a management team. The position will require 15-20% travel to visit locations outside of Idaho. Must have or be able to obtain a passport for entry into Canada. Computer proficiency, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, or similar spreadsheet software.
