One of our most challenging new fields is Microelectronics Design and Applications (MDA), which combines the unique properties of superconductivity and quantum mechanics to develop radical new energy-efficient computing systems. MDA is seeking a Sr. Principal Change Management Lead Engineer to join our team and develop these technologies into high-performance computing systems. You'll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality. Responsibilities : Lead a team to stand up a business processes, best practices and QMS components for managing changes in a new superconducting electronics manufacturing line. Create procedures and best practices for implementing controlled changes for various components within a new Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) system. Components include but are not limited to Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), Document Control, product specification limit management, operating procedure and certification management. Implement and lead a standardized change control board to communicate and validate planned changes with varying groups of stakeholders. Lead projects aimed at optimizing and standardizing MES system setup and change implementation. Collaborate with Learning and Development team to implement training and certifications for new business processes. Create and maintain schedule for implementing various QMS components. Work collaboratively with other engineering teams to understand the needs for change control. This position requires full time work onsite at our Linthicum, MD OR Annapolis Junction, MD location. Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Change Management Lead Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience. Able to support execution of Statement of Work (SOW) components with vendors and work cross team. Experience with modern automated factory systems in a semiconductor or microelectronics fab. Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate meetings. Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required. Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with poly clearance per business requirements. This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen Preferred Qualifications for Sr. Principal Change Management Lead Engineer: Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance per business requirements. Experience with starting up a modern automated or semi-automated new semiconductor manufacturing line. Experience with implementing new change management procedures. Experienced with implementing new Quality Management System (QMS) components. Deep understanding of how MES integrates with broader systems in a Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) architecture including but not limited to Fault Detection, Equipment Integration, Recipe Management, Statistical Process Control, Advanced Process Control, Inventory, etc. Has worked with Applied Materials SmartFactory CIM solution. #MDASEIT #NGMCENG Salary Range: $127,000 - $199,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
