The Construction Estimator role involves accurately determining the costs of construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and collaborating with various stakeholders. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in estimating software, and a thorough understanding of construction processes to ensure projects are completed within budget. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. Description Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates. Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to determine project costs. Prepare and present detailed cost reports, bids, and proposals. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to gather essential project information. Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor changes in design, scope, and project specifications to adjust estimates accordingly. Maintain accurate records of estimated and actual project costs. Assist in developing and maintaining cost databases. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed. Profile Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimating principles. Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift). Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
