Weekend On Call CNA

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate CNAs to become a part of our Weekend On Call team. The Weekend On Call CNA will join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout Iredell and Alexander Counties. We provide a variety of services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity and respect. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and caring attitude and enjoy caring for seniors in our community.The objective of the Weekend On Call CNA is to be available and "on call" to fill in for short notice emergency open shifts with our valued clients.This position is targeted for a CNA who is in good standing on the NCDHHS NA1 registry. The ideal candidate will commit to a minimum of one Saturday/Sunday 8a-4p and/or 2p-10p per month. The predetermined weekend is on a set rotating schedule-you will always know your scheduled weekend.There frequently is an opportunity to "pick up" additional On Call weekends or fill in shifts if desired.This rate of pay for the CNA for this position is $20 per hour.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Standby Assistance, bathing, and incontinence careCompanionship and conversationLight housekeeping tasks and meal preparationMedication and appointment remindersAlzheimer's CareAbility to provide incidental transportation (doctors, hair dresser, shopping, etc.)Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial mannerAbility to provide kind compassionate, and gentle careComplete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screenPossess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)The Weekend On Call CNA will be compensated at the premium rate of pay for the On Call duty.Weekend On Call Schedules are eight hour shifts: Saturday 8am-4pm or 2pm-10pm, Sunday 8am-4pm or 2pm-10pmFind out more about this fulfilling career /455.Position InformationTitle:Weekend On Call CNAID:1110Please note that this is the job board for the franchise office located at 117 North Center St..
