Overview $60,000-$65,000 The Payroll Analyst is responsible for all the processes related to payroll. This position will focus on optimizing payroll systems and workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance. Minimum Education Required Associate's Degree Responsibilities Assist with analyzing and optimizing payroll systems and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Conduct regular audits of payroll data and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Assist with creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of payroll processes, workflows and policies. Verify and process payroll transactions ensuring accuracy and completeness. Prepare a reconciliation of approved hours to Workforce Now. Post edits, payroll adjustments and corrections. Enter bonuses, retro pay, and shift differential pay into ADP. Assist with the review of the pre-process register to ensure accuracy of payroll data. Assist in responding to employee inquiries and questions regarding pay. Attend and actively participate in supervision and staff meetings Perform all duties in accordance with the agency's policies and procedures Qualifications S. in Business and 3 year's experience in ADP Workforce Now and ADP Enhanced Time and Attendance. Experience with ADP's report writer. Knowledge of payroll best practices and federal and state regulations regarding payroll, benefits, and taxes. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with data imports to HRIS systems. Ability to communicate articulately and knowledgeably with all levels of internal staff and outside constituencies. Must be well-organized and willing to learn and take initiative. Superior attention to detail. Superior customer service skills. High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team environment. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
