Assistant Toddler Teacher

Description The Early Learning Center at the Invensys Foxboro Branch is hiring part-time Assistant Toddler Teachers. Assistant Teachers are responsible for assisting the teachers in organizing, supervising, and evaluating the childcare program. The hours and days needed are 3-6 Monday through Friday and Wednesdays and Thursdays 10-2. Essential Functions Assists teachers, as needed, with all aspects of the daily schedule Provides supervision and guidance to children Is aware and follows all health policies, YMCA policies, and EEC regulations Attends and participates in at least 2 YMCA family events and all childcare family events Communicates concerns to a Teacher or Lead Teacher in a timely manner Assists in maintaining a safe and healthy environment Participates and attends professional development, as required by EEC Requirements Must attain CPR/First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire At least 16 years old Experience working with children
