Position Type: Maintenance/Custodial/Custodian Date Posted: 9/9/2024 Location: Ellington Middle School Date Available: 01/01/2025 Closing Date: Until filled Description: Ellington Public Schools has an opening for a Head Custodian at Ellington Middle School to start on or about January 1, 2025. Job Summary: Successful candidate will oversee the general upkeep of the school. Duties include cleaning building and furniture, etc. and maintaining school grounds. Head Custodian will also order supplies and oversee second shift custodians. Qualifications: Successful candidate must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the position. While performing the duties and responsibilities of this position, candidate must be able to sit, walk, stand, stoop, reach, lift and move items as needed. Successful candidate must have good judgment and be able to work independently. Good interpersonal skills is a must. Working Conditions: This is a first shift position.
