Help grow a safer, cleaner, healthier future for everyone, every day. The Role The Internal Audit & Assurance Manager reports to the Director of Internal Audit & Assurance. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a role that is crucial to maintain a strong control environment whilst Halma grows. This role is an enabler of growth through having well documented and known processes, clear accountabilities and metrics. The Internal Audit & Assurance Manager will play a key role in shaping and executing our internal audit strategies. This role is not just about conducting audits; it's about driving value across the organization, influencing key stakeholders, and ensuring that our audit practices enhance our operational efficiency and compliance. This is a unique opportunity to quickly familiarize yourself with Halma and its companies. High performance in this role is expected to open doors to other internal opportunities. In this role you will: Contribute to the creation of Halma's risk-based audit plan and ongoing development of Halma's proactive and commercial risk and control culture Lead a portfolio of planned audits across a variety of areas and conduct other ad hoc reviews to ensure the business is effectively and efficiently managing its key risks and controls Engage with management at all levels when conducting the audits, sharing/communicating audit results and recommended actions; all while developing great working relationships with people across the Halma, increasing your commercial knowledge Partner with other members of the audit team and the business, contributing your experiences, insights and learnings, while obtaining a better understanding of the companies, cultures and ways of working across Halma Continue to develop your people skills and specialist skills, Internal Audit is about communication, influencing and negotiation Be a trusted partner with the Director of Internal Audit & Assurance, by identifying, leading or working on projects as part of the overall audit improvement plan Use data analytics to help create insight and drive action across the business, including automation where possible in the audit process What will you bring? Proactive, can-do attitude. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Pro-active, clear and to-the-point communication is key. Outstanding relationship management capability, including working confidently with management at all levels to build trust and credibility and ability to influence to drive change. Enthusiastic, confident and a team player. Curious, asking questions with a desire to learn and a good listener. Detail-oriented with the ability to see and understand the strategic direction and bigger picture. A strong understanding of risks to enable good judgement to understand and focus on what is important to what is not. Organised and able to prioritise and meet deadlines. Commercially aware and able to work with the business to identify pragmatic solutions. Positive and open personality, with drive and self-motivation and a continuous improvement focus. Good problem solving, analytical and project management experience and proven track record of managing complex projects / initiatives including planning, organising, managing projects and delivering within agreed timelines. CPA or equivalent qualification preferred. Fluent in English. Audit experience, including experience of engaging regularly with senior management, ideally with international exposure. Experience in project management, risk management, IT and/or data analytics an advantage. Travel of around 40% internationally.
