We're just built to be better. We are a great company. Come join us! We are looking for an Environmental Health Safety Trainer for Williston, VT. This Position consists split duties that includes instructor for training courses and also performs building science and/or industrial hygiene safety assessments. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Training duties include asbestos-related training courses including Inspector, Management Planner, Abatement Worker and Supervisor, Project Monitor, NIOSH 582 PCM course, 16 hour O M, and 2 Hour Awareness. Initial and Refresher Courses. Hands-on instruction for initial courses required also. Lead training courses for the RRP, Lead Abatement Worker and Supervisor lecture or hands -on assist for Initial classes. Computer skills with PowerPoint is critical. Contributes to the development of education training programs for workers management regarding potential hazards, safe work practices, and proper use of personal protection equipment. Regulatory knowledge and field experience is also critical. Non-training duties includes collection of environmental and personal samples for analysis, and preparing samples for shipment to laboratory for analysis. Perform air sampling, noise level monitoring, and other environmental testing activities. Maintains, calibrates, operates building science and industrial hygiene instruments and equipment. Compiles and provides summary of analytical data as well as organizes data and prepares reports. Support business development activities such as scope and schedule, and attendance at meetings, events, and conferences. Requirements Minimum Requirements: Associates or Bachelor of Science Degree Required. 5 or more years of experience in field work relating to industrial hygiene services, indoor air quality, and hazardous building materials. Additional experience in lieu of degree considered. Must have a valid Driver's License, ability to pass a Driver Background Check, and have reliable transportation. Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations applicable to asbestos, lead, indoor air quality, and industrial hygiene services. Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minor supervision. Technical Requirements: Strong technical writing skills Microsoft Software and Applications Strong background in Industrial Hygiene and Building Sciences related practices.
