Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Position: Floating Maintenance Technician Location: Crescent Crossings and The Windward Apartments, Bridgeport, CT 06608 Key Requirements: Minimum 2-3 or more years Maintenance experience in a multi-family apartment style community EPA 608 type I & II or EPA Universal is a very strong requirement for this position Ability to work independently in multi-site or larger properties, and within a Team environment Strong communications skills, excellent resident/customer service abilities, bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Valid/Active Driver's License (verified during background process) What we Offer: Competitive base-pay ($22-$24/hour) depending upon experience, full time 40 hours per week Automatic quarterly (every three months) hourly pay increases, after initial 90-days on the job Monthly personal cell phone allowance Full time Employee benefits and programs Growth and career advancement opportunities as our Company continues to grow in multiple states! Responsibilities: Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines Manage service requests and ensure timely completion Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development Assist in property preventative maintenance plan Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime Requirements: Education: High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently Skills & Certifications: EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred Valid Driver's License required Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes Benefits: Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package Quarterly Increase Opportunities Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage 401(k) retirement plan with employer match of $0.50 for every $1.00 up to 6% Opportunities for student loan repayments and tuition reimbursement Paid sick time, vacation time, and opportunities for career advancement Join Our Team: If you're seeking a rewarding career opportunity with one of the top Property Management organizations in the country, we want to hear from you!
