South Florida established multi-practice firm of 18 years is expanding and looking for an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join their team. They are looking for a successful litigator with 15 or more years of litigation and trial experience. Successful candidates will have prior civil litigation, commercial litigation, state attorney or public defender experience, family law experience is a plus but not required. The firm offers a great office culture with a cooperative environment and an excellent support staff including assistance with drafting, scheduling, and onboarding. As a Senior Litigation Attorney you will be expected to handle assigned cases from inception to trial, deliver strategic legal insights, and design a custom course of action that is in the best interest of the client. Ideal candidates will be bilingual in Spanish, mediation experience is a plus. This position is full time, a hybrid schedule is available but must be able cover all in-person events, such as in-person trials, hearings, mediations, depositions, client meetings, etc., in the South Florida Tri-County area of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Qualifications: Must be licensed in good standing with the Florida Bar Must have a minimum of 15 years of litigation and trial experience, civil litigation, commercial litigation, state attorney or public defender experience preferred, family law experience is a plus but not required Bilingual Spanish is preferred and mediation experience is a plus Must open and willing to learning the area of family law Must have the confidence and ability to handle all aspects of client representation from initial meeting through trial Must be experienced in drafting discovery, motions, and legal document Must have excellent written and oral communication skills Must have strong legal research skills Must be proactive and invested in personal growth as well as the growth of the firm
