Job Type Full-time Description BASIC FUNCTION: Provides clinical social work treatment based on input from the interdisciplinary treatment team while adhering to regulatory standards and best practices. MAJOR DUTIES: • Provides treatment for mental, emotional and/or social problems, as well as treatment related to recovery from substance abuse and related to relapse issues. • Conducts consumer intakes including psychosocial history and psycho-dynamic formulation. • Makes clinical assessment and coordinates treatment with other providers as indicated. • Establishes professional and therapeutic relationships with consumers and serves as a positive role model. • Provides documentation reviews on an ongoing basis as required and according to all regulatory requirements and agency policies. • Provides individual, group and/or family therapy as indicated. • Refers consumers to appropriate treatment services as indicated ie. LESC. • Participates as part of the interdisciplinary team in clinical conferences and staff meetings. • Works with assigned and unassigned consumers on request as needed including coverage. • Represents LESC programs at public functions. • Interface and treatment collaboration with other departments as appropriate. • Performs other duties as requested or assigned. SCHEDULE: M-F 7:30AM-3:30PM, alt. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures in the field. Must be multi-culturally sensitive to the needs of consumers in treatment.
