Accounts Payable Clerk

DIRECT HIRE: A fantastic opportunity, seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the construction industry. The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Pay Range: $60K - $70K (based on experience) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, 401K Accounts Payable Responsibilities: Review and verify invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and completeness Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and resolve any discrepancies Process vendor payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions Prepare and maintain various financial reports, including aging reports and expense summaries Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any payment issues or inquiries Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial report preparations Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant accounting regulations and standards Accounts Payable Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role of 5 years minimum Viewpoint/Vista Construction Software management is a MUST Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders For a quicker response, please text "APC" to .
