Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of the healthcare team responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). As a PRN (Per Diem) LPN, you will work on a flexible schedule to assist with various nursing duties, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients. Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration. Provide wound care, ostomy care, and catheter care as needed Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Observe patients for changes in condition and report any significant findings to the RN. Accurately document patient care activities, including medication administration, vital signs, and treatment procedures. Maintain patient records and charts in accordance with facility policies and regulations. Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulations, including infection control and safety standards. Qualifications: Current LPN license in Ohio BLS Certification. Strong clinical skills and experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
