Commercial Boiler Technician

Our client is a leader in the commercial and industrial mechanical and plumbing industry, serving Central PA and Northern Maryland. Currently, they are seeking a skilled Commercial/Industrial Boiler Technician to join their team. The Commercial Boiler Technician will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting boiler systems for a variety of clients. This includes diagnosing system issues, replacing components, adjusting controls, and working alongside certified welders for specialized repairs. Job Requirements Key Requirements: - 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and servicing commercial and industrial boilers. - Robust knowledge of multiple boiler manufacturers including Cleaver-Brooks, Lochinvar, Hurst, Burnham, and Fulton. - Proficiency in boiler and burner controls, with a strong understanding of control circuit troubleshooting. - Experience with commercial HVAC systems and their integration with boiler systems. - Valid PA driver"s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record. - Ability to successfully complete background and drug screenings. Key Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required; technical school or equivalent work experience preferred. - In-depth experience with advanced control systems such as Honeywell, Fireye, Siemens, and Autoflame. - Familiarity with inspection and maintenance protocols for large-scale commercial boiler systems. - Strong communication skills, with a focus on client service and satisfaction. - Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
