ETL Tester

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ETL Tester with a strong background in SQL, UNIX/Linux Shell scripting, and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will be skilled in ETL testing, TSQL programming, and relational transactional databases. This role involves analyzing requirements, developing and maintaining data flow processes, and implementing efficient batch processes. Key Responsibilities: • Perform ETL testing using TSQL programming and develop scripts using Shell, Perl, or Python. • Conduct requirement analysis and develop test strategies for ETL processes. • Maintain and enhance data flow and batch processes in various applications. • Ensure the accuracy and quality of data through rigorous testing and validation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address ETL requirements and troubleshoot issues. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • Experience in ETL testing, including developing and executing TSQL-based ETL test scripts. • Proficiency in UNIX/Linux Shell scripting and a good understanding of relational transactional databases, especially Sybase and MSSQL. • Strong grasp of ETL processes, data transformations, and data loading.
