SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified SIGINT Systems Engineer - Hardware Solutions . Location: Middletown, RI Facility: SEACORP Facility Business Area: Hardware Solutions Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Job Summary : The RVL Systems Engineer is responsible to integrate various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices. Duties of an RVL Systems Engineer typically include test plan development, test readiness evaluations, hardware installation, and hardware troubleshooting. Ideal candidates will have the ability to process and analyze SIGINT data received from a variety of sources and test systems. Candidate should have a strong understanding of collective systems, and how to troubleshoot issues pertaining to RF, computer networking, and hardware. As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship. Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, the earned equivalent experience in the Electronic Technician (ET) / Cryptologic Technician (CT) / Fire Control Technician (FT) naval ratings is also acceptable. Experience : A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience is required. Location: Middletown, RI Travel: Monthly (approximately once per month) Clearance: Top Secret SEACORP follows ITAR guidelines for the work it performs as a federal contractor. Consequently, US citizenship is needed for all positions requiring a security clearance. Work Environment & Physical Demands: This position operates in standard Office, Assembly Laboratory, and Aboard Vessel/Shipyard environments. Standard offices and laboratories: Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting. In shipyards and aboard vessels: Significant use of hands to operate equipment and tools. Significant lifting of 40 lbs. Sitting, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching, lying prone, and squatting on a daily basis. Work is performed in highly variable work conditions to include seasonable variations in weather and temperature. High probability of working in confined spaces where movement is restricted. Dust, noise and constant activity associated with the movements of materials and people, and the fabrication of steel, including welding and the use of overhead cranes/hoists. Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoes and hard hat required; hearing protection and safety glasses recommended.
