Your role at BHSN: As a Substance Clinician you will work in our licensed OASAS outpatient clinic and focus on serving individuals ages 13 and up with substance use concerns, and work as a team to meet the client where they are at and utilize a harm reduction model to assist clients in their recovery. Center for Recovery utilizes individual, group, and family therapy to work with our clients on their recovery plan, identifying triggers, and working toward recovery and relapse prevention. Generous time off (with no wait time for accruals) Health, vision, and dental coverage (at a low-cost to you) Retirement savings plans Opportunities for advancement and growth within BHSN Mentorship and training programs Minimum 10 paid BHSN holidays off annually Working within our community, making a real impact, & working alongside passionate colleagues What your day might look like: Provides direct clinical treatment including individual, family, and group therapies, and crisis intervention toward maximizing the clinical response of each person seen Conducts initial evaluations and identifies critical impairments that become the focus of treatment form effective planning and implementation of treatment Provides unscheduled and or emergent services as needed for walk-in, open-access, and crisis clients at any time during scheduled shift Provides services beyond scheduled shift as required to meet the needs of acute walk-in, open access, and/or crisis clients Documents all aspects of the evaluation and treatment process to potentiate patient care, facilitate effective treatment coordination, and ensure regulatory compliance Your skills and qualifications: Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work is required. LMHC-P, LMHC, LMSW or LCSW license preferred Experience providing direct clinical service to the population served by the assigned clinical program is strongly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
