We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Director, Product Launch and Pipeline to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and executing a portfolio of products that anticipates future health needs is one of Hikma's main priorities. Hikma's short and long-term growth relies on the new products that are introduced every year by the US Injectables launch and pipeline team. The Associate Director of launch and pipeline management is a critical role that oversees a subset of the US injectable pipeline from end-to-end, ensuring Hikma is well positioned against competition through the development of an aligned product strategy, selection of the right products, proper continued pipeline evaluation, aiding in the development of budget and 5-year plans, development of launch strategies, and ensuring successful commercial launch execution for selected products. This is a complex and demanding position as it oversees the commercial aspects of more than a third of the US pipeline of 150+ products with an average of 15-20 new products launched annually. This role functions as key contributor of the Hikma US Injectable Pipeline team. The position requires a strong understanding of the US pharmaceutical market and its dynamics, proven ability to deliver results (both sales and EBIT), big picture mindset, excellent ability to lead and influence, superior cross functional and collaboration skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to communicate with and interact with all levels of the organization including discussions with and presentations Hikma's Leadership. The role will also work with the Canadian Hikma team and will support from an analytics point of view. Responsibilities are captured below. Responsibilities: Regular attendance at Hikma's Offices, conferences and sales events to meet the needs of the role. Portfolio Selection Contributor to the pipeline/portfolio selection team and ensures effective and efficient Product Selection Committee meetings through well prepared content to support the product candidates, including holistic product review and proper documentation of decisions. Ensures development priorities from a commercial perspective are properly communicated to relevant stakeholders. Assist with Pipeline Selection and Portfolio strategy ensuring the right products are selected for Research & Development through proper review and approval by leadership team and other key stakeholders. Identifies and recommends products for termination based on commercial value and other relevant factors. Launch Management and Analytics Leads the continuous development of sales forecasts and launch maximizing strategies for 50-75 products of the pipeline of through comprehensive product evaluations, standardized tools, and transparent fact-based methodologies. Responsible for launch sales generation and market share maximization. Drive launch performance and takes corrective action to ensure budget and market share are attained. Leads the commercial launch execution, working closely with in-line marketing team (pricing, analytics and sales force) ensuring alignment on launch strategies, recommendations, priorities, and action items/deliverables. Ensures Hikma's sales force is well prepared for new launches including generation of product backgrounds, pipeline presentations, launch performance updates, pipeline reviews and other launch and pipeline related tools/materials. Mentors and trains cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring that all stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful launch execution. Supports business development efforts with commercial input, forecasts and market insights. Participate in the development and execution of annual sales budgets, quarterly re-forecasts and 5-Year Business Plan. Liaise with numerous launch stakeholders including Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Supply Chain, Sales, and Research & Development to problem solve, prioritize, and deliver new products. Support management and leadership on special projects. Canada specific responsibilities Assist in the development of product launch tracking systems Perform financial analysis for potential internal portfolio and Business Development products. Analyze competitive portfolios to identify potential BD targets Qualifications: Broad understanding of the United States generic pharmaceutical industry, including product specific information, channels of distribution, pricing, market access, Intellectual Property and Regulatory systems. Knowledgeable in the basics of project management Demonstrated strong leadership, and sound decision making Demonstrated success in ambiguous, complex, and fast paced environment Ability to effectively manage projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Analytical skills critical in development of forecasting, pricing, and market analysis. Minimum of 8 years in pharmaceutical industry and at least 5 years in a commercial operations role overseeing forecasting and launch; prior experience with Injectable products required. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), financial, and interpersonal skills.
