Requirements for the Construction Cost Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience (project accounting experience preferred). Strong organizational and financial analysis skills. Familiarity with financial accounting statements and cost control. Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with project managers and stakeholders. Ability to work onsite, with potential for remote flexibility after the trial period. Benefits for the Construction Cost Accountant: Competitive salary: $60,000 - $75,000 plus bonus Comprehensive health benefits, generous PTO, and a 401K match Key Responsibilities of the Construction Cost Accountant: Support the audit process by providing relevant financial information. Provide financial oversight for assigned projects, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue tracking. Prepare and analyze project financial reports to ensure profitability. Collaborate with project managers to monitor expenses and ensure alignment with project budgets. Generate invoices based on project milestones and contractual agreements.
