Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is seeking a Product Change DATA Coordinator to manage and maintain product data in our corporate data system. This opportunity will be responsible for maintaining critical system data synchronized with product structure requirements. Critical data is used throughout the manufacturing, sales and planning functions for Lasko's multi-site locations. Product Change DATA Coordinator will control the modification of finished good Bill of Materials (BOMs) structures, sub-assembly BOMs structures as well as material Item assignment. Product Change DATA Coordinator will work in conjunction with engineering and production teams. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Finished Good Item set up : Based on information provided by the New Item Request Form. Enter all known information as needed to create the Finished good in the QAD data system. Create the Project Data Management folders for the appropriate Manufacturer/Supplier. Communicate i.e. "publish out" the newly created finished good item to appropriate personnel. Maintain archive of documents as required. Component part number assignment and set up : Enter all known information as needed to create the component part in the QAD data system. BOM creation and set-up : Create Bills of Material (BOM) in the QAD data system for USA production. Communicate with engineering personnel confirming BOM needs and clarifying any irregularities. Utilize the capabilities of QAD data system to efficiently manipulate data as required. Minor Data Changes/Modifications : changes to data associated with a component or Finished Good or BOM in QAD data system. Determine if requested change requires additional oversight/approvals such as a formal Engineering Change Process (ECP) documenting the requested change. Manage large data uploads/modifications in the data system : utilize QAD Excel-o-Rator, Excel and other data manipulation tools and skills, adapting methods and tools to fit desired project. Temporary Deviations : Review all aspects of the Deviation and make corrections and clarifications to assure that Deviation will move through the SmartSheet system, as per Standard Operation Procedure. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Create and maintain SOPs as needed to memorialize above mentioned process. SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be organized and be keen on details. Must have effective communication skills verbal and written. Will be required to communicate with multiple departments and multiple management levels within the corporation Must be able to maintain an organized record of all communications and documents. Familiarity with a wide variety of documents and data will be needed and/or acquired. Ability and experience with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Must be flexible and eager to learn. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE A degree in engineering or applicable experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
