Electrical Estimator

ESTIMATOR - ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR Responsibilities: Prepare detailed proposals and make presentations Develop highly accurate cost estimates for materials, labor and equipment for electrical installations Use industry related software to create estimates and manage the project data Prepare very detailed and accurate construction estimates for commercial and residential projects Perform site visits to obtain information and evaluate the project requirements Maintain current knowledge of construction codes, industry trends, regulations and technology as it relates to electrical installations Negotiate contracts with clients and prospective clients to protect the interests of the Company Review and analyze blueprints and specifications Maintain and manage accurate Requirements: Bachelors degree in construction management or related field Proven track record of experience with construction estimating Must have strong ability to negotiate and communicate with others Must be knowledgeable in construction principles and estimating Familiarity with construction codes and the NEC Should be well versed in project management and construction estimating software Able to work in a fast paced and team oriented environment Willing to work on construction sites and in the office
