We are looking for a Technical Liaison with a minimum of one year of experience, obtained in the past three years, supporting the Electronic Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST) Program Management Office (PMO). This role will: Provide support to the Program Manager in support of the FAA eFAST program. Act as the primary technical advisor for FAA program office requirement owners, providing subject matter expertise in systems engineering and other various types of engineering to support FAA eFAST functional areas. Liaison between internal and external FAA program stakeholders and assist teammates in developing a conversational understanding of customers' technical requirement in support of the acquisition. Work Location: This position offers a hybrid schedule - you'll work 1-2 days per month on-site either in Washington, DC or Herndon, VA, and Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1,500 annually to your Transportation FSA. Responsibilities: Within the Technical Liaison role supporting eFAST contracting vehicle, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Take the lead in defining technical requirements and cost estimates in an Integrated Project Team (IPT) environment and facilitate IPT meetings with the Acquisition Specialist. Assist Acquisition Specialists in developing an acquisition schedule and work toward achieving the planned milestones. Assist the Acquisition Specialist with developing acquisition requirement documents (SOWs, PWSs, SOOs) and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE). Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering (i.e., mechanical, aeronautical, civil, etc.), math, or physics. 10 years of relevant experience. This includes system engineering and system project management experience with full life cycle, design, logistic elements,development and manufacturing or production of complex multiple communications, software systems, and multiple mobile system segments. Knowledgeable and experienced using electronic media, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.). Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to proficiently and effectively distribute and manage high volume workload. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Investigation security clearance. Desired Qualifications: Relevant engineering professional certification. Program management/project management certification.
