Building Maintenance Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Facilities Manager to join our team. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for actively engaging with brokers, realtors, attorneys, and all stakeholders involved in renting and leasing company properties nationwide. Key Responsibilities: Engage with brokers, realtors, attorneys, and stakeholders in renting and leasing company properties. Maintain exceptional documentation and record-keeping. Understand and interpret contract language. Address and resolve tenant and renter issues promptly and professionally. Travel within Michigan (Caseville, St. Clair Shores, Pontiac) and occasionally to Maryland and Virginia to manage properties. Utilize technical skills related to electric, HVAC, plumbing, and landscaping as needed. Leverage social media skills to enhance property management and engagement. Demonstrate strong communication skills and a can-do attitude. Utilize Microsoft Office proficiently for various tasks. Required Skills • Minimum of five years of experience in Facilities Management. • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field. • Exceptional documentation and record-keeping skills. • Strong understanding of contract language. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Ability to travel within MI and occasionally to MD and VA. • Technical skills related to electric, HVAC, plumbing, and landscaping are a plus. • Social media skills are a plus. • A can-do attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving.
