Building Manager

Job Description The Building Manager will handle many different areas of management and upkeep to ensure the property is fully operational at all times. The Building Manager is responsible for oversight of the onsite team. They will also assess the building systems to determine needed repairs and handle the bidding and vendor oversight for projects. Building Manager will be responsible for facilities training for the onsite team and ensure adequate supply inventory is maintained. Job Duties: Oversight of maintenance team to ensure general building repairs are completed in accordance with the approver operating budget. Monitor and manage operation costs. Preparation and management of the RFP process for procurement of goods and services. Supervision and oversight of all general building maintenance, grounds work and repair/replacement projects. (Project management at an expert level) Ensure the buildings are in a clean and orderly condition by examining them on a regular basis. Participation during board/owners meetings and preparation of management reports. Implementation of Board policy and directives within the scope of the management agreement. Works with the board on strategic initiatives, policy governance and association projects. Assist with hiring, training and performance management of onsite team members. Assist with preparation of the annual budget. Requirements Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level. Knowledge of company policies, procedures and forms at a proficient level. Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements. Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.) Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements. Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
