Peer Navigator provides support and supervises the youth within our housing program. Utilizes their lived experiences while performing home-life training, assisting with, and participating in therapeutic activities and completing supportive record-keeping functions. Serve as a member of a group treatment team with the responsibility for ensuring each youth person successfully completes the goals set forth in their housing plan. Assist the young people with daily life activities. Lead, supervise, and participate in recreational activities. Responsible for conducting life-skills groups to youth in the program on a weekly basis. Education and Experiences High school diploma or equivalent required, one (1) year of experience working in a child caring institution preferred. 3-5 years of experience working in human services. Must have "lived experience" with homelessness, mental health, substance use disorder, or psychological trauma.
