Business Office Manager SHIFT: Full-Time, Days BENEFITS: Weekly Paychecks Referral Bonuses Flexible Schedules - Full & Part-Time Openings Peer Mentorship Generous Paid Time Off JOB DESCRIPTION: The Business Office Manager handles the resident's financial accounts, assists the financial director, and works with insurance companies under the director's advisement. RESPONSIBILITIES: General office duties include filing, data input, and processing paperwork. Assure accurate data entry of client information Record and confirm daily census for payers Identify and process accounts that are aging and work closely with Billing for collections Communicate with residents and their families regarding their bills (interpersonal, emails, mailing statements, etc.) Assist with Medicaid applications and recertification Support the facility with resident trust activity and monitor resident funds for appropriateness and redirection of income to cover NAMI Work with insurance companies to ensure coverage REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree OR minimum of 2 years of experience Management experience Understanding of insurance and benefits Organized Time management skills ABOUT US: Taconic Health Care is a portfolio of three health care facilities in New York state, including: Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Beacon in Beacon; Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Hopewell in Fishkill; and Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing at Ulster.
