Summary: Manage the loan operations function including Residential Mortgage, Consumer Loans, Consumer Home Equity Lines, Commercial, and Credit Card. Responsibilities include booking of all loans and review and ongoing maintenance to ensure the integrity of the system. Oversee all transactions as they relate to loans including loan advances, payments and commercial participation transactions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Book new and renewing loans on the Bank's computer system for all loan areas as noted above.Review each loan after booking on the Bank's computer system for data entry errors and accuracy to help ensure the integrity of the system. Oversee processing of loan transactions including advances, payments, and file maintenance. Review exception loan reports, maintenance reports, statements, etc. on a daily basis for unusual fluctuations. Assist Documentation Specialists and Compliance Officer to review for violation of regulations and written credit policies.Monitors participation transactions and coordinate the transfer of funds between participant banks to keep the Bank within its legal lending limits.Process Bank wires for repetitive participation and loan transactions for verification by the Wire area. Review credit card reports from FIS for accuracy and process weekly and monthly entries relating to credit card sales, payments, credits, etc. on the Bank's books. Reconcile the loan general ledger accounts on a daily basis or as necessary. (i.e., Loan in Process, Auto Payments in Process, and Deferred Fees in Process).Review advance request for draws on lines of credits verifying availability of funds and maturity up loan tickers related to insurance and missing documentation for monitoring by the loan documentation specialists.Document and establish loan operations processing procedures. Review loan documentation specialists funding entries and disbursements and approve for processing.Assist lenders and the Bank's New Accounts Specialist with loan processing issues or questions (i.e., Statement problems, payment applications). Oversee funding, booking, and purchase of mortgage loans. Comply with all requirements of the Bank Secrecy ActOther duties as assigned.Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum five (5) years of work experience in bank operations Strong analytical skillsKnowledge of Windows based products and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and OutlookExperience using Bank mainframe system (Fiserv Premier) Excellent time management and communication skillsSelf-motivated individual who is detail-oriented and able to multi-taskWaterford Bank, N.A. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
