job summary: Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for an experienced and driven Embedded Software Project Manager to lead multiple complex projects in the automotive accessories industry. This is an opportunity to take your prior training and experience in product/ software development into a product lead role. location: Grand Rapids, Michigan job type: Contract salary: $50 - 55 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Required Skills - Embedded Software Automotive Project Manager Software Project Manager Job Duties - We are seeking candidates with prior product and software development leadership experience to: * Lead multiple complex projects * Participate in software and hardware technical reviews * Develop and manage the completion of customer documentation for software deliverables * Have prior experience in complex engineering product and software development * Ensure customer and internal project requirements are documented, planned, implemented, and tested * Responsible for communication and escalation of key issues affecting: cost, quality, timing, resources, risk, technical trade-offs, etc. to management * Meet key internal and customer milestone dates * Have a high level of organization skills and attention to detail * Skills in communication, project scheduling, and management of software * Experience with mature product/ software development processes * Lead software project team meetings (Scrums and Release Planning) * Experienced with blending Agile and Waterfall Program Management Job Requirements - Required Skills: 5+ years experience in a embedded software engineering environment Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex projects Skills in communication, project scheduling, and management of software and complex products Desired Skills & Experience - Plus: Automotive Industry PMP and/or Scrum Certification Experienced with blending Agile and Waterfall Program Management qualifications: Experience level: Experienced Minimum 5 years of experience Education: Bachelors skills: Project Management Automotive Embedded Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
