Summary: The Associate Director of the Fox School Executive Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) program, as a member of the Fox International and Executive Programs team, coordinates elements of program management, student support, faculty engagement, co-curricular activities, and communications for the DBA program. The Associate Director, under the supervision of the Director, coordinates all aspects of student services for the DBA program, including Philadelphia and international locations. This includes, but is not limited to orientations, registration, advising, financial aid, academic services and support, program and course evaluations, graduation, and co-curricular activities for students. The Associate Director works with the Director of International and Executive Programs and Academic Directors to ensure students' needs are being addressed. The Associate Director will develop relationships with international partner sites to manage course delivery and student services, including with external faculty teaching in the program. The Associate Director will manage the international DBA program team to ensure that faculty have all resources required for effective course execution and will ensure that all program logistics are being managed appropriately. The Associate Director participates in the yielding of students with the Graduate Enrollment Management Office and works closely with the Doctoral Programs' Office and the Dean's Office to manage DBA program expenditures. The position requires considerable communication and collaboration with research faculty, doctoral advisors, academic departments, and assistant/associate deans of the Fox School of Business. Plan, develop, implement, and manage all aspects of student services and program delivery for the DBA program. Collaborate with the Director of International and Executive Programs and Academic Directors to provide support services to ensure the highest level of customer service. Develop, communicate, and evaluate program policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with the Associate Dean, Research and Doctoral Programs, the Vice Dean of Graduate and International Programs, and the Senior Director to ensure compliance with Graduate School and Fox School policies and procedures. Collaborate with the Senior Director and Academic Directors on faculty and student academic issues and aid in the dissemination of academic information to currently enrolled students. Oversee the development of faculty mentor appointment letters. Create and maintain channels for communicating effectively with students through a presence at Alter Hall, Center City, and virtual modalities. Create proactive systems and processes that provide seamless service delivery to students locally and internationally. Manage DBA students with registration each semester and billing and payment in an efficient and timely manner. Coordinate, schedule, and communicate dissertation proposal and final defenses. Work collaboratively with the Senior Director, Vice Dean, and the Assistant Dean of Finance to manage DBA expenditures, including student travel and other student related expenses. Supervise the processing of all forms, including personal data. Review student progress toward graduation, audit academic records and verify qualification for graduation. Co-manage logistics for events for the DBA program with the Associate Director of Doctoral Programs. Events include, but are not limited to orientations, receptions, and special events. Organize student-related activities, such as classrooms, catering, facilities, printed materials such as programs, signage, and invitations, and registration for additional activities. Research new venues and vendors within the Philadelphia region. Manages third-party vendor relationships, contracts and payments, including hotel accommodations for the DBA Residency Weekends. Collaborate with the Student Experience position to enhance students' overall graduate experience. Provide semesterly reports on student registration and identify student issues and concerns with a focus on retention, degree completion and student satisfaction; and convey questions and disputes with SFS, Bursar's Office, ISSS, Veteran's Affairs, 3rd Party Billing, and other offices/systems on campus to facilitate problem solving and remediate student issues and concerns. Support the enrollment management staff in yielding students through communication with prospective students. Train the enrollment team on newly developed curricula or changes to an existing program. Provide information and updates for website and collateral material; and, develop and implement a communication plan and welcome website/portal for admitted students. Develop strategies for ongoing relationships between Fox and DBA alumni by maintaining an alumni database, developing communication plans, and creating engaging events to highlight DBA alumni research/professional achievements. Work collaboratively with other university offices and departments to build relationships that maximize operating efficiencies and identify opportunities for process or systems improvements. To learn more about the benefits of working at Temple University please go here: Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least four (4) years of progressive related experience that includes higher education administration, specifically dealing with doctoral programs, event management, program management, student advising, professional development coaching, counseling and/or student services. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities: •Demonstrated ability to work as a team player as well as to proactively interact across multiple levels, units and divisions •Demonstrated ability in events and program management •Demonstrated ability to multi-task and solve problems both independently and as part of a team •Strong organizational and time-management skills •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff •Ability to work nights and/or evenings, as required •Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including word processing, database, presentation and spreadsheet applications and ability to use web-based computer software such as WebEx, Zoom, Banner, Salesforce, Blackboard, Canvas, etc. •Ability to travel to Temple University Main Campus, Temple's Center City Campus, as well as off-campus sites that may not be accessible via public transportation. •Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid US Passport Preferred: •Master's degree in Business or Education.
