Cloud Engineer

Job Title: Infrastructure Cloud Engineer - NO C2C Direct Hire - EST Location: Remote Job Summary: The Infrastructure Engineer ensures secure, compliant, and scalable cloud infrastructure operations. This role reports to the Director of Infrastructure. Essential Functions: Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. Support and operate AWS shared services components. Provision and manage cloud solutions including compute, storage, and networking. Automate AWS solutions using Python, Terraform, and Ansible. Manage AWS AMIs with Packer and Ansible. Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot issues. Research and evaluate new AWS services. Ensure system security on Linux and Windows-based systems. Integrate cloud infrastructure with existing systems. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Foster collaboration and effective communication. Education Required: BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Knowledge & Experience: Minimum of 3 years of AWS cloud experience. Expertise in incident identification and problem-solving. Familiarity with AWS services (VPC, S3, EC2, RDS, etc.). Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance (HI TRUST / SOC II). AWS certifications preferred. Experience documenting technical requirements.
