Position Summary The Systems Engineer iwill join a team responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and installation of Ryan Specialty's environment including but not limited to Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange Online, data backup, server management, and an extensive virtualization infrastructure. This position will lead new implementations and attach to other organizational projects as a subject matter expert to ensure a successful deployment. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working with other team members to complete highly complex projects and deployments. What will your job entail? Essential Function Provide governance for a stable and responsive server environment that supports all the needs of the business and our application development and support teams. Create redundancy for all key infrastructure systems. Work with the application support teams to provide the infrastructure required to create application redundancy for our key business applications. Enhance our Infrastructure monitoring and observability. Implement system automations for enhanced efficiency. Develop processes to streamline the successful integration of acquisitions. Maintain technical documentation for supported systems. Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to junior team members. Participation in an on-call rotation schedule as requested. Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft server operating systems, Citrix, Azure Cloud computing, Azure AVD, VMWare, Office 365/Azure AD administration, and Intune/SCCM/WSUS or equivalent experience is required. Extensive PowerShell scripting knowledge Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Exceptionally self-motivated and directed. Keen attention to detail. Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Systems Engineering or IT infrastructure Education: Degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical degree. The target salary range for this position is $128,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually. The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands.
