Assume responsibility for all logistics functions of Miele, Inc., including inventory control, import, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and reverse logistics. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Lead Supply chain team in the US/MX focusing on forward-looking strategy with intent of driving efficiencies and innovation. Align logistics processes and structure with a rapidly changing distribution environment. Optimize stock levels. Optimize warehouse processes and workflows. Identify and set up suitable third-party distribution centers. Drive solutions pragmatically to react to changing market conditions and business models (B2B, B2C) with greater agility. Minimize freight costs. Optimize reverse logistics processes. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all relevant internal & external stakeholders in the markets (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Service, Customers, etc.) Member of the local Leadership team & extended LSI Leadership team. Drive Process Standardization and Harmonization. Requirements: Experience with project and line organization, especially dealing within a matrix structure. Profound knowledge & understanding of digitalization opportunities and corresponding (IT) tools. Very good stakeholder management across internal as well as external partners. Experience in presenting decisions at C-level and to Executive Board. Good understanding of Direct to Consumer Business (B2C / D2C) as a plus. Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor's degree in logistics / supply chain management. MBA highly desirable. 10 years of logistics / supply chain management experience at a Director's level or above. Broad knowledge of all supply chain aspects. Very strong interpersonal skills. Ability to foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation. Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to co-workers at all levels of the organization. Strong project development and planning skills. Excellent analytical skills. Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
