Vishay (North America) is currently seeking applicants for a Sr. Manager, Global Learning and Development. This role will be responsible for establishing and executing a development strategy that enhances the skills, knowledge and abilities of all employees, facilitates the achievement of business goals, and builds the Company's culture. This individual will facilitate and design training programs for all Vishay employees and will collaborate with senior management to understand the long-term vision of the company and proactively plan and design programs that support global and regional training and development initiatives. Job Location: This role is remote based and can be located anywhere in the US What you will be doing: •In collaboration with global employee development team and senior leaders, identify, implement, and monitor outcomes from individual and team L&D initiatives delivered. •Design and deliver comprehensive training and learning programs leveraging multiple delivery models such as e-learning, instructor led, and blended learning. •Identify talent and capability gaps within the business and design programs and development initiatives to enhance and build organizational competence. •Develop key performance indicators for training programs, learning initiatives and organizational skill development. Ensure success is monitored and measured. •Analyze and leverage data to gain insights into organizational skill gaps, make decisions, and plan for future initiatives. •Lead internal and external network of facilitators, trainers, and consultants. What you will bring along: •University or College Degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, etc., or equivalent. •5+ years, including learning & development experience in a leadership capacity •Proficiency in MS Microsoft computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email skills required •Ability to multi-task and manage time well. Thrives on working in a fast-paced, complex environment. •Experience with Learning Management Systems (Workday preferred) as well as e-learning tools such as Articulate Rise, Captivate, etc. •Organizational agility to get things done both through formal channels and informal networks. •Strong interpersonal skills. Able to effectively operate in a culturally diverse environment and across a variety of position levels with astuteness and sensitivity. •Project management skills and expertise. •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
