As our Quality Manager, you will help lead our world-class Team in our Microelectronics Division, a leading provider of dense, rugged, secure microelectronics solutions for next generation defense applications. You will be a part of our Microwave Business where we design, develop, and produce the next generation RF/Microwave components, IMA's, modules and subsystems. We are an agile team focused on improving the quality of our products, processes, and customer experience.You will support design quality, manufacturability and producibility, while ensuring product quality plans are compliant to the customers' requirements and applicable standards and regulations. This role ensures the implementation of quality plans and provides metrics/feedback to the organization to lead continuous improvement.This role will focus on delivering quality product that meets customer requirements, identifying opportunities for yield improvement, process improvement, and product cost-reduction methods. An emphasis for this role is the support and improvement of our Quality Management System and underlying business practices and processes to enable consistency, efficiency, and ability to scale.Job Duties & Responsibilities: Monitoring and supporting all quality assurance activities to support operational objectives Performs root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements Reviewing and improving supporting documentation for products and processes Review Boards (MRBs) and Failure Review Boards (FRBs) which includes dispositioning nonconforming hardware, identifying hardware containment requirements, identifying appropriate root cause and corrective action (RCCA) is taken to prevent recurrence Presenting monthly metrics and taking action when KPI's are not met Supporting critical customer programs as the Program Quality lead Performing contract review, identifying applicable QA requirements, and executing to ensure compliance Reviewing and improving cost of poor quality and management of MRB Required Qualification: Bachelor of Science degree, in an Engineering discipline, Business Management, or equivalent with 8+ years in manufacturing - engineering, operations project management, or quality position for complex microelectronics products Thorough knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards Knowledgeable of AS9100 standards and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems Experience utilizing root cause and corrective action methodologies to provide robust solutions Preferred Qualification: Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and/or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) Prior management or supervisory experience Experience utilizing APQP/PPAP (AS9145) methodologies Lean Manufacturing experience (Six-Sigma) Experience working in the RF Microwave (Microelectronics) Industry Experience with J standards for electronic manufacturing Experience working in the Defense Aerospace Industry Experience with Agile PLM, Oracle, SharePoint, Aegis Factory Logix or similar Strong leadership skills with the ability to successfully mentor and coach others and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization Active Secret Level Security Clearance This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
