Outlast is a recycling marketplace for the world's most valuable materials. We partner with major industrial companies to source and/or sell recycled materials in integrated, mission- and economic-aligned relationships. We seek an experienced Senior Financial Analyst reporting to the Director of Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will drive financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making while providing crucial insights to key stakeholders across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning initiatives Analyze complex financial data and prepare detailed reports on revenue, expenses, and business metrics Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance and support business decisions Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning processes Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through variance analysis and performance metrics Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 2+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or related role Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with financial modeling Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Superior written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field CFA, CPA, or similar certifications/coursework Experience with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., Quickbooks) Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., BigQuery, Metabase) Technical Skills Advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) Business intelligence and reporting tools Statistical analysis and forecasting methods Data Analysis - SQL or Python - (not required but must be willing to learn) $75,000 - $115,000 a year What We Offer Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance Professional development opportunities Flexible work arrangements Career growth potential The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with business acumen and leadership abilities to drive financial excellence across the organization.
