Linux Engineer

Position Title: Senior Linux Engineer Location: Hybrid in Chicago, IL, Charlotte, NC, or Plano, TXDuration: 12-Month Contract, Potential to extend up to 24 months! Compensation: $50-$55Hour Day to Day: One of Insight Global's top Fortune 500 clients is looking for a Senior Linux Engineer to join their team for a 12-24 month contract! The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience working with Redhat products and a demonstrated record of successful implementations. This position will support the rollout of Redhat Enterprise Linux with multiple integrations and automation into monitoring and other systems of record and services.Responsibilities:Design and implement Redhat Enterprise Linux tegrate and automate monitoring and other systems of record and services.Manage package management (RPM), process monitoring, and utilization.Deploy and configure Linux systems.Design critical infrastructure services.Collaborate with the operations team to hand off designed solutions.Required Skills and Experience:5+ years of professional experience as a Linux Engineer.Proficiency in scripting and writing playbooks using Ansible.Hands-on experience with creating and managing Packer images.Expertise in using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.Practical experience with OpenShift.
