Title: C4ISRC5ISR Network Engineer Location: Hybrid in either Warren, MI or Aberdeen, MDDuration: 9-month contract to hire Salary upon conversion: $120k-$155k max (dependent on years of experience to match labor categories)Must be able to obtain a DoD secret clearance **Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.**Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave andor other paid time off as provided by applicable law.Day to Day:Insight Global is looking for a C4ISRC5ISR Network Engineer to join one of our largest defensive clients out of Warren, MI or Aberdeen, MD in a hybrid role. This person will be responsible for working with Project ManagersGovernment Customers providing consultative support on tactical network design, vehicle C5ISR integration efforts, and radio equipment. They will also be responsible for developing information support plans (ISPs) and working with DoD contracts and acquisition processes. They will be working cross functionally helping to consult engineers on how to incorporate new radio systems and how they should be put to proper use to connect within the vehicle platforms for ground combat vehicles. This position is not hands on; they will function more as a project manager. Other responsibilities include:Developing documentation around integration effortsScheduling meetings with engineers and reviewing project plans on baseProviding project updates weekly to government customers Must Haves:3+ years of experience working with and military communications networks (Radio systems)Understanding functionality and connections of radios to vehicle platformsExperience working with C4ISR or C5ISR - radio frequency tactical networks Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering field Background within the DoD field Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Strong communication and willingness to consult customers on communication networks Plusses:Active Secret ClearancePrevious ground vehicle experienceExperience working with Magic Draw, SysML, or MBSE tools
