Palo Alto Networks is looking for a ASIC Design Engineer - RTL Quality Checks - Contractor to work with the ASIC team and is a great opportunity for a talented individual who has the desire to associate with a fast-growing company in a truly international environment.Location - Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid)Duration - 12 months As an ASIC Design Engineer - RTL Quality Checks (Contractor) you will directly and visibly contribute to our overall success and daily operations within the ASIC team. In this role you will be responsible for performing RTL sign-off checks on complex blocks with multiple clocks and resets. This role requires familiarity with front-end quality check tools like LINT, CDC, RDC, and formal applications for RTL quality checks. This role is pivotal to the success of the organization, is collaborative in nature, and will continue to flex and grow as the organization matures. If you are a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision this is the role for you!Your ImpactComplete and sign off LINT, CDC, RDC, X-verification, and connectivity checks on complex modules with third party IPs and complex clocking and reset sequencesAnalyze and debug errors and warnings independently to identify the root cause.Collaborate with RTL designers on proposing and implementing fixes and or waivers.Build powerful programs to automate regression and debugging.Your Experience5+ years of relevant ASIC RTL design and quality checks experience.Proficiency in SystemVerilog for design.Strong scripting skills in Perl, Python, and TCL.Experience with Real Intent tools for LINT, CDC, RDC and X-Verification is preferred.Familiarity with Synopsys VC Formal for connectivity checking is preferred.Demonstrated ownership and independence in planning, analyzing, debugging, driving vendors, and reporting status.Strong collaboration and communication skills.EducationBS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.Our TeamOur ASIC team provides an opportunity for high impact work and the chance to change the future of digital security. For candidates who receive an offer, this is the pay range that Magnit (the staffing agency) reasonably expects to pay for this position: $120hour to $130hour.
