Great opportunity within a very lucrative industry!This is for a wholesale distributor in the WATER, WASTE WATER AND WATERWORKS INDUSTRY.Hybrid schedule optionsThe ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Outside Sales to determine which projects will require formal quotationsRead plans and specificationsPrepare a detailed and thorough Bill of Materials including all PipingValvesFittings required for the project. Quotations must be concise, clear, and easily understood by our customers.Manage addendums and communicate with sales and customersTrack upcoming projects for addition to Bid CalendarFrontlogCommunicate with Consulting Engineers regarding drawing or specifications questionsconflictsWork closely with InsideOutside Sales to handoff all project documents during order initiationDevelop a working relationship with key customersPresent a professional image to all outside contactsQualificationsMinimum high school - college preferred3-5+ years of experience- preferredExperience with estimating with a Contractor or EngineerExperience developing BOMs for projectsAbility to read drawings and specificationsUtility take off experienceIndustry experience - waterworks a plusOpen to paying more for experienced and qualified candidates in the industry.
