We are a rapidly growing organization in the Paramus, NJ area. We are seeking to hire a Sales Finance Manager w/CPG, Retail, or Food manufacturing experience to join our team of proactive professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities: Summary: The Sales Finance Manager will provide financial guidance and decision-making support to Sales Channel leaders and broker partners to achieve profitable growth. The Sales Finance Manager will collaborate with the Sales departments to continue driving effective trade ROI, recommendations for P&L enhancement, and efficient/optimized resource utilization. The Sales Finance Manager will partner cross-functionally while assisting in the development of traditional trade and retail media programs, analyzing working trade/non-trade expenses, and provide transparency to all levels of the sales hierarchy. The Sales Finance Manager will be responsible for providing an oversight of the budget v. plan v. actual spend. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with Sales/Finance Leadership and Sales Leadership to highlight customer investment opportunities and efficiencies Works in conjunction with customer teams to help them improve accuracy of their periodic sales and trade estimates through insightful analysis Generates, analyzes, and advises on quarterly customer P&Ls for existing accounts Provides financial support for customer portfolios and guidance around variances in costs and expenses Develop analysis for revenue and profit variance - related to volume / price / assortment (mix) to provide financial insights of unintended factors Facilitates solution-driven discussions with Sales, brokers, and A/R to ensure appropriate focus and follow-up on topics such as spoilage, deductions, penalties until resolved Identifies spend patterns versus historical norms, forecasted plans, and competitive landscape- recommends business opportunities Participates in special projects assigned by department leadership Mentors' new hires and/or interns on processes and systems necessary to perform their role Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required 7+ years of Financial Analysis experience 3+ years of CPG or Retail related business experience CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or Food Manufacturing experience-required Trade Promotion Management software experience Strong Microsoft Office Professional Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Advanced Microsoft Office Skills-VBA
